It does seem strange that the antagonists to God are often those asserting their own Divinity. I actually appreciate Nietzsche's direct approach to answering the obviously obscure question arising from the mere mention of the Slaying of a Divine, Eternal and All-Powerful Being: how did such Death of God transpire?! Surely there is more!  And Nietzsche, the silly-head that he is, claims to be the Murderer of the All-Mighty God!  God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? here's my political commentary: Shutting down the government for policy reasons seems like it should be against the law. Trump is essentially taking hostage the federal government for ransom of 5 billion to fund his campaign-promised Wall... I think that the Checks and Balances are working their perfect hiccups processes - it is good for them to say no, and not just submit to threats, duress and tyranical coercion - and there is never a good faith answer as to why, other than tactical political leverage that they, The President and Crew would create One Crisis to Pressure the Legislative Vote about another supposed "Humanitarian Crisis at the Southern Border". the Logical way out is simple... argue or fund the wall thru authoritarian what-have-you, but in the mean time keep the basic government afloat, yo.
